Previously, Tilt Shift photography is a technique using a mini camera and a large object, mostly used to make objects look like miniatures. But we know, it takes the camera taking pictures of miniatures and miniature objects, in this case we just change the focus point just to get an impression of a miniature. Tilt Shift technique can also be done using Adobe Photoshop.
1. Open the photo in Adobe Photoshop
2. Open the menu 'Channels' and press 'Q' to mode 'Quick Mask'
3. In the Quick Mask, select the 'Gradient' and choose 'Reflected Gradient'. Then drag the pointer at the photo, to choose focus area.
4. After that, press 'Q' to exit mode 'Quick Mask'
5. Then select 'Filter' >> 'Blur' >> 'Lens Blur'
Try other options such as 'Radius' to know the difference, using reasonable effects to get optimal results.
6. Of five steps, the picture can already be seen the results, but to show a sharper image, use the 'Brightness' and 'Hue'
To create Tilt Shift images suggested to take an object that has many colors, such as urban images with a lot car, making a picture like this is very convincing, and try capture the image from above.
